New Site Up and Running; HDLR at WordPress
The new site is up and running at WordPress. Please go to http://heartlandpinstripes.wordpress.com/ to visit. There is a brief and painless registration with WordPress in order to leave comments. at wordpress the blog-keeper ( is that a word) must approve you the first time, then you're ok.

Hey, Jason!
I checked out your new site, and it's looks great. But, I seem to be having the same kind of problems that some of the others [above] have had...I have attempted to submit "FOUR" comments, and I keep getting a notice at the bottom of the comments, that states: "Your comments are awaiting moderation"....I set up an account with wordpress, and it seemed to be set-up okay....so, I don't know what else I can do at this time....Any solutions??? ....

Hi Dianna. What user name have you tried? and what is the message you're getting in response? I am not sure why the problems acquiring a user name, but WordPress does have support help. As soon as I get a comment from you on the other blog, I'll approve it and you'll be set.

I haven't seen anything such as a pending comment on the WordPress site, which seems to happen even for users already approved if they've not commented for a stretch. If you don't have your password, you might need to get a new one from WordPress, which isn't too difficult. Let me know if difficulties continue, and I'll be on the lookout for your comments there.
