About Jason from The Heartland
Hi to All Yankees Fans and Bloggers. I am a married guy with a great wife and two terrific kids, working on my Ph.D. in US History at a major Midwestern university. Transplanted from the East, the Yankees and various blogs have done a lot to keep me from missing life back East and my beloved Yanks. I enjoy all sports, but baseball and basketball most of all. I love books and movies, and try to sneak in the occasional TV show, with "Scrubs," "South Park," "The (A, during the WGA strike) Daily Show," "Countdown with Keith Olbermann," "Chappelle's Show," and 'The Soup" among my favorites. I guess this says I sneak in more TV than I like to admit...
Feel free to drop by and post anytime. Please keep it as friendly as possible, and do back up your points. I'm happy to converse, and to agree to disagree, but I can't stand unsubstantiated points. So speak freely and often, but do it with evidence. I look forward to talking with you before, during, and after the season about our Yankees and other thoughts. Peace.
